Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what data Road to Pro (operated by MF Development, "we," "us") collects from members, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.
Road to Pro is used by young athletes, including people under 18. If you're a parent or guardian, this policy applies to your child's account too, and you're welcome to review it with them or contact us with any questions.
1. What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Name and email | Account creation and login |
| Payment status | Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details |
| Training activity | Videos watched, streaks, self check-ins, journal entries — powers your dashboard and progress tracking |
| City / area (optional) | Only if you opt in to the player directory |
| Posts and reactions | Content you choose to share in the Wins feed |
2. Why we're allowed to process this
Account and payment data: necessary to provide the membership you signed up for. Journal entries, check-ins, and directory listing: based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by simply not using those features or deleting your entries.
3. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run Road to Pro. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Netlify — website hosting
- MailerLite — email communication, if you're subscribed to updates
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active, plus a limited period after cancellation for legitimate business records (like payment history), unless you request deletion sooner.
5. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- See what we have. Download a full copy of your data from your dashboard settings.
- Correct it. Update your name, city, or other profile details directly in the app.
- Delete it. Request account deletion from your dashboard settings. We'll process this and remove your data, retaining only what we're legally required to keep (like payment records).
- Object or restrict. Contact us if you want to limit how your data is used.
- Complain. If you're in the EU/UK and think we've mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Security
Your data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted at the database level so that, technically, your account can only see its own data — not other members' data, and not data belonging to accounts you don't control.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll do our best to let active members know directly.
8. Contact
